À l’occasion de son dixième anniversaire de carrière solo, Greis sort son premier
album en français. Greis Anatomy est une radiographie qui met en lumière une
nouvelle facette de l’artiste. Greis se défoule en paroles et en musique, retourne aux
sources de ses racines francophones et s’adonne au mariage de toutes les
influences qui l’ont marqué. Ceci se montre aussi à travers le choix des invités: Greis
nous présente une sélection des ses groupes romands preferés où on retrouve le
Rock post-industriel des Young Gods, les chansons d’Aliose et de Bertrand Bitz,
mais aussi les paroles du jurassien Sim’s ou des lausannois Nokti & Moh.
En cadeau de dixième anniversaire, l’album est disponible gratuitement sur
greisanatomy.com. Une version longue avec six morceaux bonus est disponible
sur itunes.

Im Februar 2013 erscheint GREIS ANATOMY, mein erstes Album auf französisch. Es wird von Sound Service und French Part of Sweden herausgegeben und wird auf www.greisanatomy.com und itunes erhältlich sein.

For those who like big butts and cannot lie, here comes a new kind of collaboration. YVAN PEACEMAKER’s remix of TECHNIQUE INTERDITE was created within minutes with the help of a new and playful online application called FEATURIN.GS, which will be made available to the public in NOVEMBER.

The application allows you to create new collaborations with other artists online, and at the same time promote and market your beats, acapellas, lyrics and videos. It’s really easy and a lot of fun to use even for a dumb fuck like me.

NOTI/WÜMIE is probably the most succesful Greis-Cover-Blues-Duet of nortwestern Basel City, and on this new re-work of Greis’ BASTARDE, you have to ask yourself if the cover actually surpasses the original, hear for yourself:

Young Skywalker Milan Büttner managed to direct, shoot and cut this live video all by himself, using the special technique of shadow filming invented by the Wu Tang Clan in the infamous 37th chamber. It consists in a cameraspin so fast that it can transport you within a limited space, provided the room is crowded enough and the people manage to keep an energy level high enough to enable the spin.

“Ghosts”, ein Storyteller von Kool DJ GQ featuring Taz & Greis, ist bis heute einer meiner Lieblingssongs. Ich liebe Filme, bei denen am Schluss alles anders ist als erwartet. Und ich feier immer noch die Zeile “nachtgraus Liecht dringt dür ne Spaut i de Brätter wome a de Fänster het aagmacht über d’Bar”, weil der reim sich irgendwie in der mitte spiegelt..
